Want to build an android+ios app, but I need custom maps inside it. I want to design various different maps, inside each map there can been different locations, when user selects 'A' and 'B' on map, it should show it all ways in which he can reach there.
I'm aware everything is already out there, the shortest map algo, mapping, etc. But I really need to understand how can I create a custom map? Imaging it as a game map, each level will be having different maps, I need to design them, then integrate it with my path finding algorithm.
What tool should I use to design the maps? Is there any custom library available?
I tried asking chatgpt, it suggested to use TiledMap along with godot game engine, I find it really overkill to use such advanced game engine for a simple app, I really want to explore if there are any options or libraries with React Native/Kotlin/Swift
I've tried using Godot, but I feel its way too overkill to use a game engine for a simple 2d app, also I can see other apps like BookMyShow create different seating arrangements according to venue. Want something similar to that.
